SURVEYS RESULTS
After conducting the following study we´ve come to the following conclusions:
We surveyed parents and students from our school , as well as users of social networks, specifically instagram.
School community
Over the course of our study, we surveyed 172 subjects and were able to come to the following conclusions.

50% of them are unsure of the nutritional value of foods they consume on a daily basis.

Less than 5% consume the recommended five servings of fruit daily. We consider this insufficient, this could be improved with the intake of a portion of fruit or a juice at breakfast.

62.2% of the participants do not consume the serving sizes recommended on the traditional food pyramid, despite the majority claiming to know it in its entirety.

Instagram community
Through 177 subjects surveyed on Instagram, we came to the following conclusions across several age groups.

Between 12-16 years:
Consume fast food several times a week and one piece of fruit or less per day.

Between 16-18 years old:
Have reduced their consumption of processed food to once a week.
They eat 3 or more servings of fruit and vegetables per day, due to the importance of the how they look at this age.

Starting at age 18, we are shocked by the lack of information in the nutritional field.
ADVICE

STAY ACTIVE
Exercise times a week minimum for at least 30 minutes

EATING FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
Eat 5 servings of fruit and vegetables daily as they contain a variety of important nutrients.

Quench your thirst with water
Drink water regularly taking about 8 to 10 glasses, which is equivalent to 2L of water daily.

EAT MORE FISH
It is absolutely necessary to eat fish at least three days a week.

LIMIT JUNK FOOD CONSUMPTION
Doctors say that eating this type of food increases the risk of obesity.

VARIETY IS THE SPICE OF LIFE
If our diet is healthy, you can treat yourself to the occasional cheat-day.

LOOK AT FOOD LABELS
to know if they consume additives that are harmful to our health

REDUCE THE USE OF SALT
To replace it use condiments of all kinds: pepper, parsley, chili, paprika, oregano …

SLEEP PROPERLY
To feel good, perform well and live a healthy life, it is necessary to sleep at sleep at least 8 hours a night.

BE AWARE AND WANT TO DO IT
To have success in following our plan, one must to be conscious and make an effort everyday to improve one´s health.
